First, to build the Misfit brand as a global leader in design driven wearable technology devices and services. Second, the foundational technology and capabilities invented by Misfit will now be leveraged across most, if not all, of the other brands Fossil Group designs, manufactures, and sells; including Fossil, Skagen, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani, Diesel, Marc Jacobs and more.
The watch and jewelry business is changing and evolving quickly. New companies, brands, and capabilities are getting into this category, growing and redefining the market at an exciting rate. The possibilities creative and design teams can now offer to consumers is truly exciting and transformative.
