Iyo Yamasaki joined Meltwater Japan in 2010. A graduate of the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, she double majored in Economics and Asian Studies before finding her passion in sales. For five years since joining Meltwater, she has built her career as one of the strongest sales consultants globally, and has been in the Top 10 for 2011 and 2012. She has single-handedly closed over 30% of the client base in Japan, and has on-boarded high profile clients like Mitsui Fudosan Residential, Hiroshima University and Mitsubishi Tokyo UFJ and has also provided strategic advice and support to other sales consultants globally. In October 2015, she was promoted to Client Strategy Director, now overseeing existing clients, including one of her personal favourites, Sanrio.  Outside of work, she enjoys Yoga and traveling, with a personal goal to travel to at least 5 new countries this year.
